About Me

I'm an aspiring sports broadcaster passionate about presenting, commentary, and storytelling. I love the experience of both Live TV work in-front of the camera or behind, whether interviewing athletes, reporting on events, or delivering breaking news.
I’m currently seeking opportunities in sports media, from freelance to full-time roles, where I can continue to grow. Feel free to get in touch or connect with me on social!
Hobbies
I'm a passionate Everton FC fan, following in the footsteps of my Grandad, John Hurst, who played in the 1969/70 title-winning season. I also love Formula 1, Darts, American Football, and outside of sports: films, video games, food, books, and cats. I also have a personal TikTok where I post Sonic the Hedgehog content, with nearly 50,000 likes and over 250,000 views.

University

Since starting my Master’s, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience. I reported at the 2026 PDC World Darts Championship, where I interviewed Dave Chisnall. I also covered matchdays at Tranmere Rovers FC, interviewing ex-manager Andy Crosby.
I reported on a Women’s Rugby Union match between Sale Sharks and Exeter Chiefs. I also covered the British Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool.
I attended Liverpool’s press conference with Arne Slot and interviewed Lancashire Cricket players at Emirates Old Trafford. I also spoke with Wigan Warriors’ Matt Peet and Liam Marshall.
Additionally, I’ve contributed to live TV broadcasts and social media for MerseySportLive. Most recently, I completed the BAFTA-recognised Albert Certification, focusing on sustainability in media production.
Skills
I have strong behind-the-camera skills, including editing, podcasting, and social media management through my role as Media and Marketing Officer at Avro FC. I also enjoy writing reports, news stories, live blogs, and reviews.
